Daily Exercise

“This exercise requires no movement, no thinking and most of all no judgement or evaluation”

After you are awake and you realize you live in a miracle, everything is inter-connected and there is always a choice, do the following:

Watch a creature, a bird, an ant, a dog, person or a part of nature, the way a tree responds to wind, the flow of a river, stream or the tides of the ocean.

Really observe this being or phenomenon for fifteen minutes.

It is my experience that if you observe anything, really observe it, you will see that everything is miraculous. Miracles are all around us.

Martin Luther King, Jr.

“I refuse to accept the view that mankind is so tragically bound to the starless midnight of racism and war that the bright daybreak of peace and brotherhood can never become a reality… I believe that unarmed truth and unconditional love will have the final word.”

It is my experience that unless this quote of Dr. King’s evokes in each of us a sense of ownership and responsibility for the condition of our family of seven billion, seven hundred million members, it is highly unlikely that we, as individuals, will act in every moment in ways that contribute to solution.

Where is the mirror when i need one?

Age

As i began living my 74th year, years, months, hours and minutes have all become
much less significant.

As i focus on how i am being in this second, i find my clarity around how the world
is doing sharpened considerably.

How about you?
