According to Forbes magazine, the 400 richest people in the world hold assets equivalent to the assets of half of the population of the planet.

While I support freedom, capitalism and democracy, how will we explain to our children and grand children that given this statistic, roughly 40,000 people died needlessly today (and every day) from hunger and persistent starvation?

“There seems to be constant noise in the lives of many these days, from radios to MP3’s, TVs, etc. It is as if we need some constant “companion.”

How is it possible to experience, be about peace, tranquility and miracles if our system is in a constant state of “input” programming?
