There is a powerful storm headed up the eastern seaboard of the United States and there was an earthquake near Washington, D.C. earlier last week.

It crosses my mind from time to time that Mother Nature has a point of view regarding how significant we think we are.

Endless Energy

If you are willing to acknowledge that your worth and value in the world are a given, then you gain tremendous energy to create whatever you decide to create. You are no longer doing things to prove your worth and value. That is already a given. You have all your energy, focus, awareness, and attention, available for doing what you decide to do in the world.

Could it be that this is the source of endless energy?

Simplicity

If you are willing to give up whatever you think you cannot do without, you will soon realize that you really can do without it. And then you experience a great sense of freedom. You see that what you are attached to is blocking the happiness that already resides within you. Happiness is not acquired through acquisition but rather through divestiture.

Could it be that a great deal of what we believe is so, is not?
