In a place of equanimity, silence is spectacular. Every sound is new. Every sight is new.
I wonder why I have spent so much of my life filling up that magnificent space with sounds and sights recorded previously and associated with other thoughts and/or emotions.
This morning I listen to the weather person bemoan the fact that there have been the fewest sunny days and no 90 degree days at all this June or July. I then immediately thought of a dear friend with Lupus who cannot be in the sun at all and for whom hot days are a challenge.
I wonder whether there is anything more important than perspective?
As promised, we are going to continue our conversation regarding inspired environments in general and inspired schools, specifically. As with all other things, everything that has to do with creating inspired environments is inter connected and influences every other part of the process.
