Igor

There is an angel-winged begonia next to my desk.

From time to time, Igor has been eight feet wide and just as high.

Now, about four by four.

The delicacy of the clusters of flowers is absolutely stunning. The dark red leaf backs and green with white speckled fronts are beautiful as well!

Tell me you do not see miracle?

Beauty

Many old lines are grounded in the truth.

For example, “Beauty is in the eye of the beholder.”

What would it be like if we looked at everything that way?

There would never be a “more” beautiful person.

There would be “different,” not “better.”

Who else, other than the advertisers, would that hurt?

Quiet

Imagine the place in the world where you experienced the greatest sense of tranquility.

It could be a mountain, the ocean, a lake, a flower, trees, desert winds, the sound of rain on a tin roof, the purr of a well-tuned engine.

Listen to it in your mind.

What does it do to your heart, your stomach, your soul, as it were?

What if you could access that same feeling just because you say so?

And you can.
