Graciousness

In Great Britain the country roads are narrow, large enough to manage the biggest vehicles and only if people “give way” on a regular basis, allowing others to pass in an orderly, naturally alternating fashion.

I wonder if that contributes to the general sense of grace and sharing evident in almost every environment?

Lost Time

I am still determined to be cheerful and happy, in whatever situation I may be; for I have also learned from experience that the greater part of our happiness or misery depends upon our dispositions, and not upon our circumstances.

-Martha Washington

I wonder how many “years” worth of hours I have spent (wasted) because I looked at the “circumstances” with the wrong “disposition,” or attitude!

With gratitude to Jo Iglesias

Responsibility

Institutions and individuals all over the world know that we have damaged huge portions of our populations. The Dahlit of India, The Native American, The Citizens of Hiroshima and Nagasaki to begin.

What might happen if we all decided to own that damage which we have created and sought to do no more?
