Hate
We have come to a time where we have become quite good at justifying our hate for this person or that action.
And the logical extension of the justification of hatred would be?
Perhaps, if we’re really good at it, we can create a
“war to end all wars.”

Who Has the Power?
In 1964, Alice Boothby, wife of my Mentor, Albert Boothby, for whom this organization was named, was run off the road during one of her many routine trips to the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where she was pursuing her Master’s Degree in library science.
The Klu Klux Klan seemed the likely responsible party.
In a faculty meeting that afternoon called to address the issue,
I said, “I hate bigots!”
Albert wheeled around at me and said, “That would make you the problem.”
“Unless we learn to love the bigot and hate the action, none of this will change.”
It appears as if Albert couldn’t have been more right!
