Real Love


I wrote a letter this week in which I almost apologized for loving lots of people. I am so glad I made a different decision.



Isn’t it interesting how wanting to be needed can shield the truth so easily?








Friendship


Tonight I made a wonderful chicken salad.
Each time I make this particular meal I think of one person who taught me
to put small, baby peas in the mix. They make it special, somehow.
And you made my life special, Carrie! Thanks!



Isn’t it interesting how the simplest of things can remind us of great generosity?








Awake


On days when I experience the power of loving-kindness, the world seems beautiful, magical and complete.



I wonder why, when there are days that are full of strife and anguish, I forget that my job is to remember that brilliance and power?
