Look At Your Wrist

If you want to experience a wild ride, sit in good light and look at your wrist. Don’t think about looking at your wrist, look at it.

What do you see?

Skin?

Tiny hair follicles?

Veins?

Blood moving?

Your heart beating?

Are you seeing the life in you?

Nice gift.

The Preciousness of This Second

“A friend of mine is currently an inpatient in a stem cell transplant unit at a hospital in Rochester, NY.  She just went through her third transplant, this time from a donor whose cells were tranported from Paris.  It was a 100% perfect match.”

Sue’s only goal is to live!  She has 2 incurable cancers and has been receiving treatment for 18 months.”

Everyday I remind myself that life is fragile and how I choose to live it is the gift.  Breathe in life, exhale doubt.

Can you see that in this circumstance, which many might describe in tragic terms, there is light,  presence, grace, dignity, focus and love!

Blessings from and gratitude to Kelli Vestal!

Think about who grew your food, delivered it, cooked it, served it or cleaned up after you.

I wonder how many of them we thanked?
